*Placement in the RV park is at our discretion. We do "Rally Style" parking at all our lots, which is first-come, first-served, and parked as you arrive. To park together, you must arrive together.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • A $30 non-refundable cancellation fee will apply to all reservations, any time before your reservation.

Generator Usage:

  •  Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 3:30 am.

  • No operation of generators during this time.

  • External generators must be at least 2 feet off the ground.

  • Position generator exhaust away from neighboring guests.

  • Loud construction-type generators are NOT allowed.


Pets:

  •  All pets must be on a leash when outside of the RV. We have a large park, “Chandelier Park” that is open to all guests and pets.

  • Pet owners must be considerate and clean up after their pet.

  • Pets are not allowed inside Balloon Fiesta Park unless they are a service animal with the proper designations.

  • Please be aware that some pets can become frightened by loud noises, such as hot air balloon burners and fireworks.


Smoking:

  •  Smoking is allowed ONLY in your designated area to respect other’s space.

 
BBQ Grills:

  • PROPANE OR PELLET BBQ grills are allowed in the RV lot but charcoal grills are not allowed.

  • Open flames, such as wood burner fire pits are not allowed in any RV lots.

  • Grills must be 2 feet off the ground.

  • If it has been discovered that you are using the grill for purposes other than cooking food, you may be asked to leave as a violation of the BBQ grill rule.

 
Trash:

  •  Please keep your RV site clean. Place trash in the provided receptacle bin at the entrance of the property.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO dumping of gray or black water on the ground.

 
Event/Session Cancellation:

  •  AIBF assumes no responsibility for the cancellation of Balloon Fiesta Park activities due to weather or safety considerations. The event is weather-dependent.

 
Electric Water Heater Usage:

  •  Electric hook-ups may be offered, please message us.

 
Transportation Service:

  • There are UBER and LYFT services in our area. Otherwise, driving and parking in lots or getting shuttled from locations throughout the city are offered. Please see the information on the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Page (linked above). Park and Ride Information

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS


Motorized Alternative Transportation:

  • Loud motorized transportation vehicles will NOT be allowed.

  • Golf carts or ATVs will NOT be allowed for personal use in the RV lots unless prior approval by AIBF.

  • Speed Limit is 5mph in all RV lots.

 

Campfires:

  • NO campfires or propane fire pits are allowed per the Albuquerque Fire Department.

  • Anyone caught burning a campfire of any sort will result in removal from the RV lot.

  • We have gas-run fire-pits for community use.

Additional RV Details

All RV spaces must have prior reservations. Drive-ups will not be accommodated.  

  • Check-in hours are at 3pm daily. For individualized check in times please email us.

  • For safety, we do not park after dark.

  • Any arrivals prior to your reservation date will not be accommodated, as you must have a prior reservation for each night you are staying. 

  • Extensions to reservations will not be accommodated, as you must have a prior reservation for each night you are staying. 

  • Check-out time is 11am daily.

  • There is a 3rd party vendor available for pumping and fills at an additional cost per service; they only accept cash.  RV Dump Stations

  • Standard RV parking space sizes are approximately 20 feet wide by 40 feet long.

  • First come, first serve.

  • Please show up at the same time to be parked as close as able.

  • Check out is 11am daily. Check in is 3pm daily.

  • Yes. Our Laundry Lounge is open to all guests. Commercial Ice Machine and sink with filtered water are available for use.

  • There is no dump station on site. There are several RV dump locations in our area. https://rvshare.com/dumpstations/new-mexico/albuquerque

  • Yes, please let us know ahead of time if you plan on using a generator.

  • No showers on-site for “dry camping” in an RV or tent. You must be renting a casita from us for private bathroom access.

  • No toilets on-site for “dry camping” in an RV or tent. You must be renting a casita from us for private bathroom access.

  • No free build campfires allowed. We have gas fire pits on site for use.

  • Yes, pets are allowed on an individualized screening basis. We require to know: breed/gender/temperament/age/potty trained/leash trained? Any Service animal is welcome with documentation papers. Emotional Support animals are not included by New Mexico regulation as “Service trained animals” and will be subject to individual screenings.

  • We are 17 minutes to Balloon Fiesta park on the Westside. We are approximately 5.7 miles from the grounds. There are biking trails on Alameda that take you from our location straight up to Balloon Fiesta Park.

    Typical drone light show starts each morning before sunrise approximately around 5:45am.

  • It is highly recommended to purchase tickets online prior to event.

  • Laundry Lounge is on-site for clothes washing facilities.

    Grocery store options are between 3-5 minutes away.

    Post Office is approximately 1 minute up the road from us, on the main drag.
